An Industry specialist with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, project managing and delivering complex engineering projects within the UK and Europe since 2006. From the first all air large scale low energy Data Centre within the UK in 2008 to projects in Madrid in 2024, he has applied a strong engineering design background to support all members of the team to achieve the client's goals.

Presented by: Dr Umaima Haider - Senior Lecturer – Computer Science & Digital Technologies, University of East London. With over a decade of experience in academia, Dr Haider is a Lecturer at the Enterprise Computing Research Lab, University of East London (UEL). Before joining this position, she was a Senior Scientist at UEL and Technical Analyst at Uptime Institute. Dr Haider was also a Lecturer in Computing at Falmouth University, UK and held a visiting research scholar position at Clemson University, South Carolina, USA.

Presented by: Peter Zanatta – Managing Director, Attanz. Peter Zanatta is a seasoned expert in the realms of IT, Telecoms, Infrastructure, IoT, and Smart City initiatives. As the Founder and Managing Director of Attanz Limited, he has over 25 years of experience and has offered advisory and management insights to notable telecom entities, including Cable and Wireless, MCI (now Verizon Business), and CenturyLink.

Presented by: Astrid Wynne - Astrid Wynne, Sustainability Lead at Techbuyer and Chair of the DCS Sustainability Special Interest Group, who also represents the CEDaCI research programme, focusing on Circular Economy solutions for the data centre sector.

Presented by: Venessa Moffatt, Advisory Board Member at the DCA - Data Centre Alliance, is a strategy and growth specialist with over 15 years of experience in diverse tech industries, including business integration, SaaS, hybrid cloud, data centres, managed services, and telecoms/networking. She holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MBA from Essex University. Venessa is also a member of MIET and MBCS.

Presented by: Deborah Andrews, Professor of Design for Sustainability & Circularity at London South Bank University, boasts over 20 years of experience in sustainable design and manufacture, the Circular Economy, and Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment. She is also a proud Chartered Environmentalist.

SECURITY OF TECH AWARD
