A Veteran in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management With two decades of experience in Business and Technology Operations and 14 years specializing in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management (BCM), Anubhav stands out in the field. Expert in all phases of the BCM Lifecycle, Anubhav is trained on BS25999 and ISO22301 standards, ensuring organizational resilience. His contingency planning includes identifying potential interruptions, developing safeguards, and implementing swift recovery procedures. In Disaster Recovery, Anubhav addresses potential problem areas and single points of failure, crafting and implementing robust recovery plans. He ensures data sensitivity and integrity through meticulous Library Management and Back-up and Recovery operations. Currently, as Global Recovery Event Lead at Barclays, Anubhav leads Data Centre (DC) Testing globally. His responsibilities include continuity planning, event management, and developing enterprise-wide exercises. He oversees and approves change activities, enhancing control and governance. Anubhav ensures alignment with global standards (ITIL) and risk frameworks, communicating effectively across Business Units and Senior Stakeholders. He guides all Bank verticals to align their BCM processes with the enterprise-wide program. By analysing business impacts and identifying recovery requirements, he ensures acceptable recovery time periods. On Test execution days, Anubhav manages command and control, summarizing testing activities in detailed reports. His strategic oversight ensures business resilience and continuity at Barclays.
