With a background in the energy sector, Chris launched Open Energy Market in 2013 with the intention of bringing greater transparency and clarity to the industry.
Since then, Chris has grown the organisation significantly and has ambitious targets in the coming years.
Open Energy Market offers businesses a new approach to energy procurement and now, sustainability. The business launched its own SaaS platform in 2023, True, the first platform to combine energy procurement and sustainability, providing businesses with a path to Net Zero.
The technology displays energy consumption and carbon emissions in a live environment, while also displaying the output of energy from renewable energy sources that a business may have on-site.
