Jonathan Copley

Jonathan started his journey to Data Centre testing after joining Barclays Technology over 18 years ago.
Initially working in Technology Risk and Control, Jonathan gained an interest in understanding how Programmes and Projects could easily disrupt a production environment and what controls can be put in place to reduce that risk.
After spending several years creating strategies and dashboarding for teams across Barclays regions on this subject he then moved to a more operational role in Technology Resilience. Jonathan’s first project in Resilience was to lead a programme of activities to introduce production crossovers into Barclays Technology for the first time. Currently, as The Director of Technology Recovery Event Management, Jonathan leads the team that delivers Data Centre (DC) Testing globally. His team operate in the US, UK and India and manage Technology continuity planning, event management, and developing enterprise-wide Data Centre test events.
