Mark Gusakov is the Chief Certification Officer for the International Data Center Authority and Advisory Board Community Chairman for Nomad Futurists. IDCA is the global regulatory and certification standards authority that brings compliance to our digital infrastructure ecosystem to ensure resiliency for our global digital economy. As a globally-recognized and professional speaker on energy and power, education, skilled trades, workforce development, supply chain impacts, Edge computing, facility resiliency, redundancy and operational stability, as well as fluid power expertise regarding liquid cooling applications, his thought leadership ensures a vast array of topics can be covered by proposing solutions and not dwelling on problems. Throughout his 20-year career spanning Automation, Process Control, and Value-Added Consultation, Gusakov's goal has been to address disparate approaches in an effort to break down siloed experiences across people, systems and equipment to achieve overall performance excellence. Gusakov continues to pursue advocacy for the digital infrastructure community in overall performance and stresses the importance of data-driven accuracy for management and operational success. With his transition to promote the educational foundation for emerging talent in the digital infrastructure industry as a Nomad Futurist, the organization is working diligently on demystifying the global digital economy for the next generation of talent. While he sits on several advisory boards, he is passionate about his work supporting EPRI in the DC Flex initiative, Fission for the Future and support of the Department of energy and Idaho National Laboratory for the alignment of data centre consideration. Gusakov holds a DCOM Accreditation from IDCA, ATS Accreditation from Uptime Institute, LSS Yellow Belt, Parker PTAC Specialist, Festo Product Specialist and Eaton Product Specialist Certifications.
