Riccardo is VP EMEA Operational Readiness & Site Delivery for VIRTUS Data Centres. With over 20 years of experience in data centre design, construction, consolidation and operation, he has developed a wealth of technical and managerial knowledge while working for the global biggest brands in technology. Riccardo led the data centre operational function across the UK and in Europe for companies such as Telecity Group (now Equinix), Rackspace, Sky, CBRE and Amazon Web Services. In his current role for VIRTUS, Riccardo is responsible for the end to end implementation of VIRTUS's sites across Europe so, in addition to his previous experience, has a unique insight into how standards and practices are developing across Europe
