Sasan Moaveni has been with Hitachi Vantara since 2014. In Apr. 2024 he was appointed as the Global Business Lead for AI & High Performance Data Platforms. In this capacity he manages Hitachi Vantara’s Solution Sales Specialists responsible for the delivery of the company’s overall revenue & growth objectives in the AI market. During his tenure at Hitachi Vantara, Sasan has also been responsible for the company’s global Object Storage (HCP) business, Converged Infrastructure (Unified Compute Platform - UCP) business, the EMEA Geo HCP & UCP businesses and the EMEA Geo channel partner business. Sasan is an innovative and experienced leader with more than 30 years of technical, sales, services and channel management experience. Throughout his career, he has gained a broad range of expertise in IT products and services from working with customers in a diverse set of vertical markets as well as working for/with major IT industry players such as: Hitachi Vantara, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Network Appliance, Sequent Computer Systems, SAP, VMware & Cisco. Sasan holds a BSc Hons degree in Information Technology from Kingston University, London, UK. In addition, he has completed a number of post graduate programs including leadership training at IMD Business School in Switzerland.
