Dr. Sean R. Jones is an energy systems expert with a PhD in Energy Systems from the University of Nottingham. Currently serving as a Senior Management Consultant at Siemens Energy, Dr. Jones specializes in investment case modelling, energy network simulation, heavy industry, and network operations. With a background in renewable energy, Dr. Jones has held significant roles at Siemens Digital Industries Software and Siemens Energy Grid Consulting. His expertise spans energy optimization, decarbonization strategy, and energy system modelling. Dr. Jones is also an active member of the Energy Sector Executive Committee at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). His contributions to the field are recognized through numerous awards and publications in leading journals and conferences.
