Yash is a Data Centre Professional with 16 Years of experience managing, building, operating, divesting and investing in Data Centres globally. He has been the trendsetter in building the first Data Centre in many emerging markets and developed the Data Centre resources expertise from the ground up there.
He is currently the CEO of the Data Centre Division at Nxtra by Airtel Africa. Prior to this he was the leader for Data Centre Procurement, Portfolio and Risks at Amazon Web Services.
Yash holds a master’s degree in computer security and forensics, a master’s in business administration, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional as well as a Certified Data Centre Management Professional. He is also a member of the Business Continuity Institute and a Fellow of the British Computer Society.
